On April 6, 2008, New Hope Boys Team member Cameron Bock won 1st place All-Around in the Level 5 division (8-year-old) at the 2008 Region 1 Men's Gymnastics Championship in Reno, Nevada. Cameron's All-Around score of 55.90 was his personal best for the season. He was also the only gymnast in his age category to medal in all six events. Congratulations for a job well done, Cameron. Represent!

Other noteworthy performances at Regionals included Level 10 member Yoshi Mori with a 1st place finish on High Bar (5th place AA - Age 16-18), and Matt del Junco with 2nd place finishes on both Rings and Vault (5th place AA - Age 14-15). Matt also won the Gold medal in the Event Finals on Pommel Horse, and a Silver on Vault.

In the Level 8 division, Jacob Silvestri finished 3rd All-Around, with a Silver medal in the Event Finals on Parallel Bars. Teammate DJ Corpuz won the Bronze in the Event Finals in High Bar.

Other highlights included a 2nd place finish by Level 5 member Maurice Armstrong on Rings, and a 9th place All-Around finish by Tony Petelo.

So Cal All-Star Teams were represented by Yoshi Mori, Matt del Junco, DJ Corpuz, Tony Petelo, and Cameron Bock. All five New Hope team members helped each of their respective All-Star Teams win 1st Place in their respective Levels / Age Divisions.
