The Meet Info page on our website now gives users a choice when obtaining directions to meet sites. Formerly utilizing MapQuest, this was previously the visitor's only online choice for Internet mapping from our website. With the latest advances in digital mapping technology, Yahoo and Google have both recently provided more powerful mapping capabilities than MapQuest. As a result, we felt that it was important for our members to be able to take advantage of this. With both Yahoo and Google links now implemented on the Meet Info page, our users finally have the ability to get their maps/directions to meet locations from these two online mapping leaders. Of course, loyal users who are partial to MapQuest will still have this option available. The links to all three map sites have been upgraded; instead of going to the main map page (and having to click "Get Driving Directions"), the links now go directly to the "Driving Directions" page, with the Destination Address (meet site address) already entered for you. All you need to do is enter your Starting Address (probably your house, or perhaps the gym), and you're good to go! We hope that the addition of these new features will make meet preparation better for our team members. Go to our Meets page and click on any Calendar icon to check it out!
